1:1 Therapy
In order to be able to support as many people as I can, I host sessions on a secure telehealth platform. While I know that telehealth isn’t everyone’s favorite (I’ll admit I was skeptical about it first myself), I have found that working virtually allows me to connect with clients just as deeply as I used to during in-person sessions, while also allowing clients to feel comfortable in their own space and benefit from skipping the driving they would usually have to do to see a therapist.
When we meet for a telehealth session, I’ll ensure you feel comfortable and safe, so you can focus fully on your therapy. I’m dedicated to providing a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can freely explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges. Together, we’ll develop personalized strategies tailored specifically to your needs, emphasizing practical tools that promote your mental wellness.
Partner with your Loved Ones
During our work together, if it becomes apparent that involving your loved ones in your wellness journey would be beneficial, I will empower you to do so in a way that feels safe and meaningful. We will identify the people in your life that are most integral to your wellbeing (whether they are currently having a positive impact or if their role in your life is more complicated) and I will facilitate conversations that promote understanding and trust. Together, we will create strategies that integrate your loved ones as partners in healing and helping you create a strong support system.
Resources/Referrals
I’m here to make sure you have all the support you need along your mental health journey. Everyone’s experience is different, and sometimes therapy by itself isn’t enough to address everything that affects your well-being. If the need arises, I will direct you to caring professionals and community resources. Whether that means seeing a psychiatrist, joining support groups, accessing social services, or getting involved in educational programs, the goal is to build a strong network that supports your healing and growth. I will also recommend reading materials, reflective prompts, psychoeducation videos, etc. to build on concepts and ideas we discuss during our sessions. If additional support feels right for you, I’ll work closely with you to find the resources that fit your needs, so your care feels complete and honors all parts of who you are.
Between-session Support
Between sessions, I am available to provide ongoing support through text messages and emails to help you feel connected and supported outside of our appointments. This communication allows me to check in on your progress, clarify any questions, and offer encouragement or brief guidance as needed. You can share updates, challenges, or reflections at your convenience, and I’ll respond with thoughtful feedback to help you stay motivated and grounded in your therapeutic journey. This approach ensures continuity of care while respecting your individual pace and needs.
While I do my best to respond as promptly as I can, it may take up to two business days to hear back from me. Given this, reaching out to me via text or email will not be a crisis response resource, but we will discuss your options for this kind of support early on in our work together.
