My Approach

Throughout our time working together, I will curate my approach to meet your unique needs, which almost always calls for a blend of clinical techniques from various therapeutic modalities. However, I do tend to borrow from certain modalities more than others, primarily those considered “evidence-based.”

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

  • Habit Reversal Training (HRT)

Regardless of the techniques, tools, and interventions I use during our work together, my methods are always grounded in Ecological Systems Theory, which focuses on how your individual experiences are shaped by a complex web of interconnected systems—from your family and social circles to your community and broader cultural environment. By considering these influences, we can create a more complete understanding of your unique situation and develop a comprehensive plan for meaningful, lasting change.
